As a surrealist, Salvador Dalí is one of my favorite artists. I love the lighting, tones, and dreamscapes in his work. With this piece, I took one of his iconic portraits and translated it through my own visual language. I incorporated my irregular black contours and signature Blobby Eyes pattern into the portrait. This was the first portrait I’ve done like this, and it won’t be the last.
